Cards not paying attention to preseason ranking

"Rankings don’t mean nothing," Radcliffe said of Louisville’s preseason ranking of 23rd in the Amway Coaches Poll. "You can’t rate attributes on the field and you can’t rate heart. If you ask me, you definitely can’t rank us, because they don’t know what we’re coming with."
All offseason Louisville has talked about high expectations andnational championship mindsets. It’s been tough talk from a program coming off an 8 5 season after starting 0 3.

Jackson is the perfect embodiment of the progression of Petrino’s Cardinals. A roster full of youth and inexperience a season ago, Jackson took the field as a starter without knowing the playbook. Petrino admitted he hasn’t allowed a starting signal caller to do that often.
